Where to Watch: Bass Pro Shops PBR Thunder Days presented by DoorDash
Don’t miss three days of PBR Teams action as the Missouri Thunder return home to Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, Missouri, Sept. 4-6!

The 2026 PBR Teams season rolls into Ridgedale, Missouri, this weekend for Bass Pro Shops PBR Thunder Days presented by DoorDash at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena.
The sixth event of the season brings all 10 teams to the Ozarks for three days of five-on-five bull riding games as the Missouri Thunder compete in front of their home state crowd for the first time in 2026.

The Missouri Thunder return to Thunder Ridge Nature Arena for the first time since their inaugural homestand was held there, and the weekend will bring plenty beyond the games themselves. Fans can catch concerts from Chris Janson and Miranda Lambert, plus a little outdoor bucking action as the Thunder settle back into the Ozarks.
Missouri also brings plenty of personality into its home weekend. Maverick Smith remains the closer behind the Thunder’s Brazilian-heavy lineup, still tying in with his riding hand turned backward after going perfect in his debut with the unconventional grip.
And because bull riding apparently does not believe in days off, Julio Cesar Marques, Angelo Junior Rossetto and Ramon Fiorini spent part of the break driving to California for a PBR event, squeezing in a look at the ocean along the way before getting back to business on the bulls. Coach Ross Coleman said he had found them a financially responsible direct flight, but part of him realized the guys probably felt a little more like old-school rodeo cowboys by piling into a vehicle and driving cross-country to the next one, the way riders like Tuff Hedeman once did.
Not much English was learned along the way, according to Coleman, but the miles, laughs and time together were good for the guys.
The New York Mavericks will be without Hudson Bolton, who is home recovering from a broken jaw. Bolton’s jaw is wired shut, leaving him on a smoothie diet for now — and probably making it a little harder than usual to cheer on his teammates from afar.
Marco Rizzo will see a familiar matchup in Ridgedale when he draws El Chapo for the third time in two weeks. With that much recent history between rider and bull, there will not be many surprises when the gate opens.
José Vitor Leme also remains within striking distance of another piece of PBR history. The three-time World Champion enters Thunder Days with 92 career 90-point rides at the premier level, just two shy of Chris Shivers’ record of 94.
One of the biggest developments heading into Thunder Days came away from the arena, with rivals Texas and Austin pulling off a jaw-dropping trade. The Texas Rattlers sent Andrew Alvidrez to the Austin Gamblers in exchange for Lucas Divino and Texas’ 2028 first-round draft pick, adding another layer to an already heated in-state rivalry as Divino immediately enters the Rattlers’ lineup.
Texas will also welcome Dawson Branton back into the lineup after he dealt with a disc issue in his neck. Jesus Villa, Texas’ draft designee from this year, will be on the bench in Missouri, giving the Rattlers additional depth as the season continues.
Nashville received good news after what initially looked like a scary wreck Sunday in Austin. Rogério Venâncio is good to go for Thunder Days after leaving Gambler Days and flying directly to Brazil alongside teammates and assistant coach Silvano Alves to watch Barretos.
Venâncio was far from the only PBR Teams rider making the trip. Athletes from several teams competed at Barretos during the off week, including João Ricardo Vieira and Keyshawn Whitehorse, adding another round of travel and competition before everyone reconvenes in Missouri.
There is also positive injury news elsewhere around the league. Trey Kimzey is healed up for Carolina, while Jake Lockwood is expected back in Missouri after recovering from being stepped on while competing on the rodeo trail.
Oklahoma, meanwhile, will be without one of its newest additions for a while. Jack Mitchell is in a cast and expected to miss four to six weeks, meaning the young Wildcatter will be providing more moral support than eight-second help in the coming weeks.
